I can't my Roland ED PC-180a to work...
can anyone help me find a driver for it?I've looked all over it,but I can't find one anywhere......

There's no driver for it. What should a driver do ? You connect it via midi.

Then either it's broken or you're not doing it right.

Unless you provide more details than "it doesn't work" noone is going to be able to help.

I've got a midi cable that came with my behringer v-amp.
It has one cable that says inn, another one that say out, and then there's a standard printerstyle plug on the other end...
I've plugged it in,men I can't find it in any software I've tried to use..
Maybe I'm missing som midicontroller driver on my computer or something?
I'm pretty blank when it comes to computers........

Where did you plug in the printerstyle plug ? In the soundcard ? What soundcard ? Can you find any midiports at all ?

You're not looking for an ED-180 entry in the list of available midi inputs ? Because it will be named "Whatever your soundcard is named" midi input or something like that. The midi interface does'nt know what it is connected to.

Has it worked before and stopped working at some point ? Is this the first time you try it ?

I plugged it into the only one that it could be connected to.
I don't know what soundcard I have, but I think it's a pretty generic one...
AC'97 ...
I haven't tried using the keyboard on this computer before.

Could you please count how many pins there are on the printer-style connector? Is it male or female? Is there any label or icon on the PC side connector where you've got it plugged in?

If my guess is right, then there are 15 pins which makes it a joystick connector and not a printer connector. It will probably be listed in your midi devices as a "MPU-401". NB: the MPU-401 type midi device is not supported by Vista.
