Hey, I can't see the PatchMix control panel, but even if I could I couldn't cope with it, neither can my sighted wife.
Could someone who knows how write a 1616M session template for me.
I need 6 inputs enabled, 4 outputs, and I want the -12db soft-knee limiter turned off.
That limiter that kicks in and begins limiting at -12db screws up my reading of VU meters in Reaper.
It causes the readouts from the meters to act crazy.
I want to control levels myself, my own choice, use a brickwall limiter, if I so choose.
It's beautiful, the eMu 1616M PCIE interface, but sure is difficult.
With the 2012 version of the 64-bit beta driver, on eMu's website, I got the soundcard to behave itself on Windows 7 64-bit.
Anyway, please, someone, a session template with 24-bit 96K, 6 inputs, 4 outputs, no -12db limiter?
Thanks so much you'll never realize how much this will improve my recordings,
