Hi, I have recently bought a set of KRK studio monitors, and together with these monitors an M-audio M-Track USB audio interface, with the purpose of connecting my studio monitors to my laptop via XLR. However, I found out that both the audio interface and the studio monitors need the male side of the xlr cable, which gives me the impression that the audio interface does not work with monitors.
With my current equipment (2 studio monitors, a usb audio interface and a computer), can I connect my monitors to my computer via xlr?
Thanks!
How to connect studio monitors to laptop via XLR?

Look at the interface ports and look at the monitor ports; get a cable that matches the plugs.
The M-Track plus has 1/4" outs (sure you're not looking at the midi ports?).
The KRK's have 1/4" TRS OR XLR ins.
You just get a pair of 1/4" to XLR-male cables or 1/4"-to-1/4" cables.
