Most USB mixers only send the stereo output to your DAW. You need either a multi channel audio interface or a mixer than sends individual channels over USB.

Are you sure you have the audio inputs set correctly in your DAW when recording?

I could handle it recording everything at once from the mixer, but its re recording all the former tracks onto each next one,

Found a workaround , say I put my kickdrums on channel 1 , then I'll pan that left and record channel 2 , (so it doesn't bleed in) then after I've recorded , I put the channel 2 on a 1 then pan that left and record again then when I'm done recording bring everything back to centre , it's a bit annoying anyone think of a better way?

Sounds like how the old 4 track cassette recorders used to work. Fine if you're recording in mono ...
Is there no way on the mixer to stop the computer sending audio back to itself? Assuming I am understanding the problem correctly.
