Hey guys,
Looking to buy a laptop for travel production but money is TIGHT so looking for something older / second hand. Probably a tough question because it does depend how many VST plugins you used etc, but what would be the lowest specs you recommend? Don't think id go lower than 16GB of RAM so what about CPU speed? thanks.

I'm running a mid-2012 MacBook Pro (2.6 quad core i7 w/ 16gb of ram). Pretty happy with the performance. I can run 10 instances of Diva before it starts suffering. Usually in great quality, not divine. I rarely have to freeze tracks. Several years later I still love it.
