Anyone have any luck automagically migrating an existing PC's data, installed programs (including tons of VSTs) etc to a new PC using Laplink Disk Image? The description seems a bit too good to believe. It claims it can restore a PC to a PC with different hardware, which I thought was not possible.
Alternatively, does the current version of their PCMover software work correctly when moving VSTs etc to a new PC?
migrate to new PC (Windows 10) using Laplink Disk Image or PCMover

I was about to ask a similar question. I just got a new laptop, I'd like to just sort of zap Maschine and my VSTs and samples onto it with a minimum of fuss.

To be honest, its not a good idea to use anything like this as drivers etc will mess up. It will be a crap shoot.
