Symbolic (Alias) Folder for Synth Presets OSX

Trying to set this up in OSX for Diva. I want a folder in google drive that I can access on 2 computers inside the Diva preset folder - how I wish all devs provide a custom folder option.

I've tried various methods but it seems plugins on OSX can't recognise the contents of Symbolic / Alias folders on OSX.

I've also tried the app MacDropAny but the problem persists.

Has anyone had any luck? Any help would be great, thanks..
