Windows Volume Control Won't Work With Studio One 3
Can anyone help me with this? Whenever I start Studio One 3 everything is at max volume. The only way I can control the volume is from within Studio One 3 itself. Used to I could just use the windows volume control but now it doesn't even show up as a running app with that.

Have you switched driver model for your sound device in studio1?
There's WME/MME, Asio and a new kernel thing I forgot the name.
The win volume applies to WME/MME but Asio bypasses that. Bonus: low latency, because the mixer and several abstraction layers are skipped.

Hey thanks for the answer!
I just tried windows audio and now I can control it with the windows volume meter. Is this the best way to run it? I really would hate to run it the other way where I can't control the volume easily.
I am not really knowing about this stuff, I never remember not using ASIO, is this a new Windows 10 thing?
