Octamed on Amiga (030+). 4 channels of 14bit 22khz and multiple channels of MIDI in tracker format. Ahh.

Using windows since 1999 Windows 10 is the best one although I don't like the auto install driver when installing windows 10 for the first time.

The Digitally Controlled one (which meant at that time, sometimes you'd get full gain squarewave on the first sampling try, and you had to launch the software again to "calibrate volume level". Sometimes boot whole machine by power off/on)

Started up an old WinXP computer today to get out some backups.
The Windows folder on that is only just over 1GB I think it is only ServicePack 1, I didn't bother updating that much after installing WinXP.
But how has Windows 7 managed to blow that folder up to over 20GB ?
I also (re)learnt a nifty dos command: "dir /s > print.txt" gets me an overview of everything in a folder including sub-folders.
I spent half an hour googling for a freeware directory lister, before I realized that such a function is already included in Windows
