The panic button ( = all notes off) is indeed one of the first thing's I'd like to map to a physical button on my midi controller. But I can't. Is this intentional?

It _is_ possible to midi map the panic button by means of a special workaround (press "Configure" in the revealed Ableton instrument pane, click the panic button, click the control in Ableton, press Command-M, press a button on the controller, press Command-M again) but this has to be done all over again for each instance of the instrument.

Is it true that the panic button doesn't respond to a specific CC message, and neither does it emit one?

Ableton Live 8.2.2
NoiseMaker 3.0.6
Controller: Novation ZeroSL Mk II
OSX 10.6.7

The Panic Button does not work when the amp envelope's release time is set to maximum.
I tried a resonance overflow - not possible.

The Panic Button works like this - Parameter #1 is like a gate, staying OFF when the
parameter does not change and ON while changing its value. When you program
a simple ON/OFF its not enough - you need a knob with a "range".

...but it works as it should. It does not work for the feedback-cycles of the delay.
So "The Panic Button" is probably a tool to feed the high-feedback delay. Or to
gate the length of a note besides the
amp envelope. :singer:
