Music Riff Studio

Drum machine, step sequencer, loop editor, wavetable synthesizer. Guitar distortion, mute strings distortion, bass, drums and so on. You can save and load your loops without restriction.

All in one. The best solution for mobile rhytm section. Created by music composer for music composers. Use earphones for better sound.

The app I find most useful is HiFiCorder. It's great for field recordings. Considering I have my droid phone with me nearly everywhere I go, I've been getting into the habit of sampling the world around me. Nice for adding ambient noise and such to compositions.

Other than that, I've played around with Caustic on my droid tablet but have to admit I'm a bit disappointed I opted for the droid tablet over an iPad.

I like Chordbot, LoopStack, and would be remiss in not mentioning Etherophone (written by my brother).

MorphWiz Play (ignore the dated visuals): https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... JwaHdpeiJd

Plasmasound and NodeBeat are another two I fool around with a lot.

gStrings is probably my most used one.

Anyone know of any apps that replicate (and yes, I know I'm going to get some slack for this one... lol ;) ) the Acid Pro sequencer, but for an android app? Or something as close to a multitrack sequencer, even Ableton's wonky sequencer will do (in app form) for when I'm on the go, outside the studio, and reallly looking to make some music when out n about... Anyone??

A thousand thank you's in advance :)

You might try Reloop. They also have a free demo to try on google play.

There is a good emulator called DraStic DS Emulator and want to write about the
DS-10 soon on Musical Android because it works better than what I expected and it seems to also emulate analog sound better than most on Android...
Have to give it some time yet but there will be a full report soon.
The little I tried it, it seems excellent if you disregard the fact that it has bad resolution on a tablet and it is too small on a telephone.
