hey people,
I stumbled upon this Android app a few days ago: Common FM Synthesizer.
very basic, bread & butter 4 op FM. but unlike many other Android apps, this one is actually cool
not many features, you can only play with the on-screen keyboard and save your presets. free and without ads.
I'm neither the author nor affiliated in any way, just sharing my finding. I couldn't find it mentioned here and I think it deserves it.
cheers,
Aldo

Yes it is very nice and a nice way without going crazy to learn about FM synthesis,
another one that even loads Yamaha DX7 sysex and is an emulation of Yamaha DX7 is Synprezfm also for free and without any advertising!
Maybe one of the more advanced synthesizers for Android...and best sounding.
In either case both are great and free without strange attachments / advertising.
And they don't eat your battery...
