Just found this app and it's a lot of fun, here's the description from its developer:
The RAD Box is a retro digital audio workstation, featuring a simple step- sequencer, patterns and basic parametrable instruments. It is available for the BlackBerry PlayBook and BB10 platform, as well as in your flash-enabled browser.
