Hey why you call it spam?
It is my website and it is an review that I wrote regarding Yellofier with sound sample.
It is an music application and think that some people would be interested in reading it.
I do this regularly when there is something that is worth reading for people that uses Android music applications. Do you think it is wrong?

Do I think it's wrong?!
You can review year old apps as much as you want, but creating a thread here, with a link to your site, is spam.
It's really not that difficult.

So as a neutral reviewer linking to a review is spam...
Then I guess there is too much spam on this forum as there is links to all kinds of things?
And to music that people created and link to is that spam to...?
And being a year old application is true when it comes to iOS but it just recently came out for Android and it is for people interested in Android applications that I write for.
It is not easy for people to find information regarding Android music apps that is why I started the website so maybe me posting here is a good thing for many people...

To your own site, yes. Is this really difficult?
Post the review here then.

Personally, I don't consider it spam. it's an original review in the right forum for it.
The age of the app is not that relevant IMO but anyway the Android version is new and does justify a review, even if only to compare it to the iOS version.

I read it because I have the IOS version and I may be interested in getting the Android one too.

IMO spam is when a comment or post has no relevance with the current topic/forum or when the link takes you to a site not related with the subject, like in the case of KVR, car insurance, pharmaceutical products, food, etc.

Oh, that's right. You can't post images and sounds here at KVR.

This is NOT spam in my opinion.
Feel free to continue, musical android.
In spite of what BMoore may think at times, he doesn't run this forum.

If the admins object to this, can't they say so themselves?

They just did in the post right above yours.

In either case myself do not see it as spam and hopefully BMoore you do not suffer too much if I do this once in a while as it only happens if I did a review or an interview and this happens maybe once a month and when I think that it is interesting for more than my daily readers, like for example somebody that reads the sub forum of mobile apps.
And if you follow the link and see the review maybe you would have to agree that it would look pretty weird posted fully here in this forum?

Ok can we start talking about yellofier again? :-) I agree with your assessment musical android that yellofier can be pretty deep but the fact that the app does so much for you behind the scenes really leads to beats coming out of it having a distinctive sound. I've heard similar comments about dblue glitch. I do like the sounds yellofier produces and the fun factor

+1
not spam to me.

There aren't many info about android apps these days and it's however a side of audio making to have a look to, so giving info here to people, to me is welcome.
Cheers
