I'm new to this DAW software thing so I'm trying to find out what ipad/tablet would be able to support it to run a Ketron SD1000 sound module.I'm in Australia.

I would be using the ipad or tablet as a for just the Ketron SD1000 so i can use it on my piano.I'm trying to budget for it.I am looking at what brands are suitable and what software to use too.(got to post that topic too).

There are plenty of department store type tablets, plenty of well known brands around, just have to find something that doesnt cost a fortune.I'm not a professional musician, this is a hobby so I have to watch the budget.Need to start some where.

For now I'm more interested in using a tablet for DAW software just to use to activate tones/sounds from SD1000 module to piano.I need to learn how to use DAW software for its various other uses later.

Thank you.
