Hi, I just released a new instrument for iOS. It's called Spectral Harp and it creates sound by letting you "strum" parts of the audible spectrum. It's able to make some pretty cool alien and droid talking sounds. It looks like this:
And it sounds like this:

For now it just generates sound, but it's only 99 cents. I'd be curious to know what people think about the interface, like suggestions for making it look nicer or maybe a better layout. I'm hoping to be able to add MIDI control and inter-app audio at some point.
Here's the iTunes preview link: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/spectra ... 84081?mt=8
Thanks for checking it out!

Seems fun. Can we record what we're doing to a wav file and easily transfer that elsewhere? Transfer to computer via wi-fi is always nice, I can see myself using this to make raw material to be processed further and/or loaded into oscillators and/or resynthesized etc.
Could you make a video where we can have a look over your shoulder so to speak and see how this strumming works? Right now we kind of have to guess.. I know it's very inexpensive, but I don't like making completely random purchases based on loose assumptions about what the product will do...
