There has been some interesting posts (in my not so humble opinion) lately at Musical Android that I think would be interesing for anyone into Android music making...

ne interview with Bojan Khrlanko a professional musician that used a wide variety of apps to make a album called Rise of the Androids:

One interview with the developer Anton Persson of the most fully featured free app VuKNOB:

Plus there is information of Samungs own solution to Androids latency that will be incorporated in their high end devices with third party developers ( many from the iOS world ) making apps for the Samsung DAW that will be released soon.
Here is the post with a bunch of screenshots that speak louder than words...

I'm surprised your post and this information in general didn't get more attention at the time... we definitely enjoyed being featured in a performance and look forward to this (AmpliTube already available) and the interface coming very soon:

At this time we're only bringing AmpliTube and iRig HD-A to these devices that have Samsung Professional Audio available. We have always been looking for the best opportunities in the Android market where there is enough performance to make the experience a good one, so there's definitely possibilities once other lower-latency and audio interface support / architecture is available.
