Do any of you use an iPad to trigger clips in session mode?

There are a few options out there but I don't need total Live control, just a clip launcher really.

The scenario is that I want to use Live for drum and sample triggering while I also use it to trigger sequences on my Virus and Nord Lead (hence me not using an iPad sequencer) all live and unplanned.

I'm using a bit of software (I can't remember the name now as it's on the DAW PC and I'm on the other computer) that allows me to connect the iPad to the computer with the sync cable so I don't need to use an iConnect or anything like that. It's worked well for Cubase IC Pro so far.

I guess I'm looking for something like an APC40 app, with even less functionality!

Cheers

I kind of have similar needs, but more robust. I'm thinking Lemur or TouchOSC. If you can remember to post your software that lets you plug your iPad into your PC, I'd love it.

TouchAble here, it is the premier app for Live control on iOS. Works wirelessly or wired over the basic usb sync cable.http://www.touch-able.com/

I also use TouchOSC on Android for custom functions within Live.

@tehlord Conductr is indeed quite the awesome, excels at Traktor control too.
Just make the music that you enjoy (failing that go for a walk, watch some porn, have a fight with a random bloke until something else happens).

I used to use TouchAble but I moved on after I picked up Push and after I think some of the functionality was broken (I believe it has been fixed) after Live 9 was released.

It was (and I'm sure still is) a great app.

Conductr... Wow, I haven't looked at it since it was released, but they've made some definite improvements!

Never heard of TouchAble. I used to use TouchOsc and it was great! Very configurable.
