Pure Chords is the smoothest and easiest ever Android MIDI keyboard and controller!

Pure Chords lets you control any MIDI capable software of hardware with your Android phone or tablet. The app includes a two octave keyboard, five sliders, five toggle switches, and two x/y grids. A randomizing LFO and a randomize button allow for unique experimentation, and the keyboard can be placed in a special drone mode.

Pure Chords works by communicating MIDI information over the network between the app and a server on the computer that listens to and manages incoming data from the app. You can choose from various servers depending on your workflow, the programs you use and your preference. At the moment the options include a dedicated Max4Live device for working in Ableton, a dedicated device device for the Sonic Core Scope system and a generic standalone server that is independent of any specific program.

The manual is very informative and provides a detailed guide on how to setup and use the app with your server of choice.

Known issues:
- When using multiple instances and playing notes on both sometimes notes from one instance will turn off notes from another instance even on separate midi channels.

- Important to keep in mind your system must have built-in multiple MIDI drivers OR multiple virtual MIDI drivers installed (loopBe1,midi yoke or anything else) in order to use the app's server as well as a DAW at the same time!
