Hi tboneUS,
thank you for the explanation. I realized this was an important feature, indeed supported by all DAWs.
I implemented this today in the RC way: as a variation that you can add to a track (or to a phrase). It is called "Delay Notes" and allows plus/minus one beat delay. Please let me know if you need more than one beat.
I can send you an update if you need it right now, otherwise it will be included in the next bug-fix update, expected in 4-5 days.
Thanks!
Attila

I wonder Attila how this will affect transmitting over LAN.
One thing I notice in my set up is a slight delay (latency) when recording from RC to my DAW. Controlling RC playback is basically instantaneous but when recording there is always some miliseconds delay.
I'll definitely look forward to this in the next update to test
Thank you for implementing this!
Happy Musiking!

Hi I was wondering if it would be possible to add a midi import preview and a midi preview when adding midi to current composition. Would help save a lot of time filcking around midi files for ideas.
Cheers D

Good idea. I can imagine a "MIDI file browser" where all your MIDI files are displayed in their folder structure, and you can preview them with a single click. Maybe other information could be displayed like chords, number of tracks, track names, etc.
Thanks!

Cheers Attila, sounds good,
I was also wondering about the chord palette,
I have found it very useful using it with an ipad for knocking out progressions, but could there be a few more options in it.
1. Could you add something for inversions.
2. You can't go down the scale from I - VII - vi its always up.
I know this would add a lot of chords to the palette so maybe something like a customised palette might be a work around, where I can add the chords I would like to use and a few inversions, over a range of 2 octaves.
Cheers D

I think this would be a simple one - can you add 16th-note triplets to the snap option in the phrase editor?

Sure, 16th note triplet will be added in a few days.
A new beta version is expected this weekend.
Thanks,

The latest beta version with the 16th note triplet (in every snap and grid setting) is available now.
If you are not sure how to download it, please send me an e-mail or PM.
More details about the beta version can be read in the bug reports topic.
Thanks,
Attila

I'll send you the links in PM.
If you have the download URLs, you need to add "beta" in front of ".php" so that it ends with "...beta.php".
If all goes well, another beta version will be available this weekend with a surprise for VST plug-in users.
