Hi

Great software! I have the full 2.51 version running on Macbook with 10.6.8 OS. I want to use RC as a standalone, but with a VSTi, specifically either Purity or Halion Sonic. I have added the VSTs in the Settings - VSTi section and included the multi-channel option. However, when I go back into the arrangement view and try to change instruments, there are no VSTs visible, only the soundfont instruments. I know this was working in previous versions. Have I missed something or am I doing something wrong? Any help would certainly be appreciated.

You are right, there is something wrong with adding VST plug-ins. I am checking.

I found what the problem was. Since this is a rather serious issue, an update will be uploaded in the next hour.

The problem was that the existence of soundfont files and VST plug-ins was checked. However a VST plug-in is actually a folder on OS X, so this check failed on OS X. Well, the beauties of cross-platform development!

The update v2.52 is available for OS X. You can either 'Check For Updates' on the 'Support' panel, or use the download links from the v2.5 announcement e-mail.
