Demo RC vst not working right?

Hi, i have a new problem with the demo this time, when i idea generate or import midi, and playback, it loops itself at bar one, and doesnt go furthur then that. so all i hear is like 4 notes before it loops back. Since there's no internal transport in vst mode, i can't edit the repeat section or repeat whole in vst mode. it just repeats first bar and then loops again. Is this disabled in demo I am wondering? or am i doing something wrong? standalone works fine but when i import midi, the soundfonts don't playback audio from the midi imports. i even tried using GS wavetable to see if the midi sounds would work. but doesnt. Any help appreciated. I'm going to buy the full version, and I hope this isn't a glitch to prevent me from using it.

Hi musicnerd,

there is no such limitation in the demo. Which host program (and version) did you use? There was a small problem in the VST plug-in that made the playback silent outside the selected timeline range, but this is fixed in the latest version (v2.63), uploaded today. Please try this update.

You need to select a soundfont or VST instrument for each track after MIDI import.

I guess musicnerd has simply made a selection in the timeline... without become aware of it (the timeline selected (by error) becomes blue-grey... but for a newbie it can be not evident why or it can be totally unseen by him).

Therefore... the play is limited to the selection and he doesn't realize why.

Yes, I am sure this was the case. It was a problem I did not know about, but fortunately I could fix it yesterday.
