Good catch, lulukom!

It is fixed now, and another OS X bug was fixed when the drum maps were not available.

But what about that pitchband imported together with midi file using a drag-and-drop, but not only through the MIDI import window, as it is now?

Hello lulukom!

The fix is not yet downloadable but I am sure I'll upload another update in a few days.
Importing pitchbend for a dropped MIDI file is not done yet, sorry. I have a problem with that. The MIDI file is converted to a phrase and phrases cannot contain MIDI CC events at the moment. I am afraid this will be implemented in a later version, not before v3.4.

RapidComposer Beta v3.2b9 is available!

Improvements:

If you hold down Shift during double-clicking or Alt-clicking on the master track for splitting chords, the following chord will be used for the new chord, not the one that you clicked on
If you hold down Shift during double-clicking or Alt-clicking on the master track for joining chords, the first chord will be replaced by the second chord
Swap 2 selected chords (action in master track inspector with shortcut possibility)
[VST] New playback setting: "Start Playback From The Current Position Instead Of The Host Position"
[OS X}[VST] fix for a crashing bug
Fixed: Rest options sometimes created zero length notes

the b9 work perfect, after longer use no crashes when use rests and no wrong short notes get. existing is Problem i add screenshot earlier when size of GUI is +3 or larger. then the sliders for random generator seem too small in x and the % value overwrite text on right side

maybe it is possible easy to add a symbol or other text color in phrase text to show if a phrase is a ghost phrase ? it let better see what is the original phrase

BTW: since b8 i notice no crashes on RC exit or audio change. it run perfect stable

In the merge composition feature i get crash several times before the merge composition window come.the last crash and maybe easiest reproducable was a test song i want merge with only 1 track and sample tank 3 VSt. song on which i want merge use no sample tank. it use MUX and some other VST plugins. but after try again, it work. it crash randomly. wer file show this. maybe other get crash too when use VST plugins and standalone on merge and can reproduce ?

the play position for generator is currently not add. Now phrase editor have it, is it then much work to add to phrase generator too ?. when you plan to add this ?. when have play position is usefull when can play a generator phrase in a loop and every time when press regenerate when it play with generator play buttons and loop play is enable, phrase is generate and play from start. so can try out lots faster new generate phrases, because you need not press play button after regenerate

I was working on the melody generator in v3.3b1, but when I try to fiddle with the phrase length settings, the program crashes. Same thing happened to v3.2 stable.

Hi MarcN58T,

this sounds worrying. Do you mean you set "Original Length" in the phrase inspector, or resize the melody phrase using the mouse, or change the "Length" next to the Rhythm generator?
Is this on OS X or Windows?
Please let me know. I will do my best to fix this ASAP.

Hello magicmusic,

"Merge Composition" will need more testing with compositions using VST plug-ins. I am sure the problem is connected with VST plug-ins. So far I could not crash it, but I can imagine that there is a bug with unreleased VST plug-ins. I will check.
