Is it possible to drag the midi file directly from the computer to the phrase in RC track, like a rhythm, so that the phrase rhythmically changes according to this midi file? Wow! ... I have a stop thinking, my brain does not remember it and does not give the command to the hands!)))

The metaplugin 64 also has a bridge in it for 32bit vst's.

In RC if MIDI Out port could be selected in VST mode then this would work in Logic using MiniHost AU to send midi to a logic instrument via IAC, if you are not using Virtual Instruments within MiniHost from RC's MIDI: VST Output.
Else you need https://www.thepiz.org/plugins/?p=midiOut in MiniHost AU and send midi out to IAC bus.
You can use https://jstuff.wordpress.com/jbridgem/ as the midiOut is only 32bit.

It is not possible to do that, only in two steps. First drop the midi file on a track, and then Ctrl-drag the rhythm.

Still having trouble even with crossovercable's solution... but at least my workaround of MIDI clock sync and RC's virtual MIDI output should work for now.

Is it possible to drag a phrase generator from one bar as midi to a DAW like Reaper? Not the track, just one bar? For example just like ctrl+tracktitle drag and drop, ctrl+generatortitle drag and drop?

Yes, it is possible! MIDI drag&drop can use the timeline selection. When there is an active region selected on the timeline, only the phrases in that region that will be dragged.
So select the bar you want to drag, and Ctrl-Track Title drag will drag only that bar. Or Ctrl-File Icon drag will drag all unmuted tracks, in the selected bar only.

RapidComposer v3.5b4 is available!

Improvements:

• You can add chord tensions to voicings. This way you can use a 7th note in a phrase even if the chord is a simple triad
• Fixed 'Rootless 9th' voicing which now works as you expect. New voicing added: 'Always Root-3rd-5th-7th' which adds a 7th to triads and removes 9th/11th/13th from more complex chords.
• Browser buttons cleaned up. Remove unused buttons to reduce the clutter.
• Forward and backward transport controls added
• Fixed phrase paste error when 'allow pasting between two RapidComposer applications' was enabled (file open error)
• When using 'chord from composition' as the chord preview, the transposition is also applied to the preview chord

PS: After the last moment I realized the 'Always Root-3rd-5th-7th' voicing file was not added to the macOS installer. It is not something you cannot do in 10 seconds, but I will send the file to anyone who needs it.

Is it possible to copy and paste chords in the master track? eg, If I have 12 bars of chords, each are custom. with a common slash note. Rather than edit all twelve, just edit the first few, then copy and paste to the rest.. ?? I ask here in case there isn't a way that I am not aware of, in that case, it becomes a suggestion.. hehe

also, maybe a non-destructive drag on the timeline. If for instance you have n bars and chords and you drag to make it shorter, then decide you don't like it, it is lost. ??

Also, I think this is a bug, but, you have to proceed in a certain order on a new project and changing the key and then the chord naming construct. For instance, if the naming scheme is at default (I, IV,V), and you change keys, it is fine. But, if you change the naming to conventional note names first (A, B, C, etc.), then change the key, it does not change the notes in the master track correctly. However, if you change the key then change the chord names, it does. Hope this isn't nit picking.. lol

Yes, copy/paste works on master track chords. Make a selection, press Ctrl-C (cmd-c on Mac), click on the timeline to select the paste position, then press Ctrl-V (cmd-V). Please note that the chords are inserted into the master track, rather than overwriting the existing chords at that position.
If you want to overwrite them, it is easiest to click on "Open Chords In Progression Editor" and drag the progression to the position where you want the chords to start.

Will you describe the issue with changing the key step by step? I am a bit slow today. Like: start a new composition, change the naming to conventional, add chords, change key to X, etc.
