Hi lulukom!
Thank you!
What I saw is that the program was idle, and you clicked on a pop-up menu. Did it crash after you selected a menu item? Do you remember which menu you clicked on?
Thanks,
Attila

The technology of rhythmic processing of phrases by rhythmic patterns in the program is perfectly realized!
But I would like to propose the evolution of this technique!
When I rhythmically process a phrase, I immediately get a rhythmic copy of the original pattern or midi file as a result. Perfect. But I would like to choose rhythmic figures from different patterns and their segments for one phrase.
I suggest creating a container for rhythmic processing of the phrase with different patterns and midi files and their segments!
It seems to me that everything in my picture is quite clear ...
Thank you .

Interesting!
So if I understand you well, you want to be able to assign patterns to a single phrase, in several pieces from different sources. I suppose you work with longer phrases.

Yes, that's right. I would like to have a choice of many rhythm patterns and in loop mode listen for variations of rhythmic changes from different sources and segments of these sources for my phrase.

I noticed the bends stay in the phrase after it is converted to a generator, that's good, it will be good to have the articulation and locked notes also and be able to store them in the saved phrases, looking forward to that.
I was trying Harmony Navigator but I could not figure it out as things are so much easier in RapidComposer.

I think a solution is, when it is possible to group phrases in a track. so its possible to select for example 8 2 beat phrases that are follow each other. and when click on 1 of this phrase and move it, the other phrases that are group follow. so it is possible to change in 1 of this phrases the rythm and hear whats happen. also if you like all bars except bar 3 2 beats then it is possible to recreate only bar 3 beat1 + beat 2.
have much bars in 1 phrase have often the problem that the melody sound one some bars not good. I often use 2 beat phrases because on 1 bar i also notice some beats that sound not good.

Yes, currently the bends belong to the track.crossovercable wrote:I noticed the bends stay in the phrase after it is converted to a generator, that's good, it will be good to have the articulation and locked notes also and be able to store them in the saved phrases, looking forward to that.
I am doing my best to implement storing MIDI controllers in phrases (and notes) in v3.5.
Sometimes I get frightened by the fact that there is still so much to do to make RC equally useful for everyone...
Thanks,
Attila

Hello Attila!
If you are afraid of how much you need to do, then you are absolutely adequate person!))
And how much you have already done!
We all support you very much and are very glad to see how the program is getting better!
PS And, of course, now the controllers with the phrases are the most necessary thing! Thank you.

Thank you, lulukom!
I absolutely feel the support from the community, which is amazing.
I will keep you posted in this topic how the development goes with the controllers in phrases. I'll post screenshots because it will take several weeks so don't expect a beta version soon.

Hi Attila thats great that you work on support controllers in phrases. please also dont forget to make your design able that it can support some times later MPE(which allow tie controller messages to notes). there come lots new controllers on market that support it. for example the https://sensel.com/ sensel morph tousch is may favourite and not so much expensive. it can work with diffrent layouts and also can work as a touch sensitive graphic paint tablet. it should available since some months, but i see it not on music shops where i live and i need import it from USA. so i wait, maybe work not so good as expectet

Very interesting. I have already bought a ROLI Seaboard Block for testing MPE but I am very disappointed. It is basically unplayable It is collecting dust on my shelf. I am happy that I did not buy their bigger keyboard.

Hi Attila
Wy do you think its unplayable ?. I have not play the roli, but i think that it is hard to play chords with it, because black and white notes have only a small area that is above you need hit. I have a korg nanokey studio too and before a akai mini. i need learn and be patience 1 or 2 weeks but then i can better play with it as a normal keyboard, because the pressure need and way need is shorter. to test or learn play better on new input devices, i can suggest melodics. there is a free version too. so its possible to compare play timing between diffrent input methods. best timing i reach with pads. https://melodics.com/
