I'm trying to use RapidComposer in a really basic way – to preview chord progressions. I have a set of chord types that I like to use, and I've saved them to my own chord group. I want to see a list of ALL root tones (chromatic scale), and the chord types _only_ from my chord group. I don't need to see all of the different chord types that RC knows about.

Can I set that up?

At the moment you cannot filter out unwanted chords, but as a workaround you could simply remove all unwanted chords from the chords browser. (First make a backup copy of the Chords.rcCHRD file to be able to restore it later.) I fully understand if one does not ever want to use "Flat 9th #11" chord, so select all unneeded chords in the browser, press the right mouse button and click on "Remove N Chords". You can use the Shift key to select a range of chords.

Then you can use the Chord Palette. Click on Chord List where you can see all notes of the chromatic scale, but you can also filter by notes, or use a certain scale.

Thanks,
Attila

Are you on Windows or macOS?
I have deleted all 13th and 11th chords, next time they were not reinstalled (tried this on both Windows and macOS).
Please let me know which chords should I delete to reproduce this.
Only if you remove the Chords.rcCHRD file, that will be reinstalled, but I suppose you did not do that.

Thanks,
Attila
