Ok, so I just got shreddage 2, and its giving me some trouble. I can't make sense of what being played when. For example say I hit middle C on my midi keyboard, if I go up 5 notes I get the expected notes but palm muted, if I go DOWN from middle C I get random noise and then the notes jump up an octave or start playing power chords. Weird stuff. Bellow Is a link to some screens of my settings, maybe Ive got something set up I don't know about?

Can you post a midi file of the stated example? It's possible you're triggering the mute articulation by not hitting the key hard enough. As for when you go down, the lowest single-note octave is middle C (and notes below, down to G), then it starts the powerchord articulations after a few choke samples. This is the way the library is designed.

Take a look at the Quick Reference PDF, which outlines the mapping for the library - as warfighter67 mentioned, we have it split so that the lower octaves are powerchords, upper octaves are single notes.

Here is the midi, and here is the audio that the midi generates (raw direct impute)

That link SHOULD work, but I made an account for the sol purpose of uploading that midi so I'm not exactly experience with uploading files. at the end of the midi files are some chord shapes that I want to be able to have played, basicly just a power chord with the top note raised a whole step, pretty standard in metal. How do I get that played, do I just play it in? when I try that it gives me some weird stuff

Right, so at 0:23 you hit the low end of the guitar's range. There are a couple keys underneath that G - one used for full chokes, one for fret noise. Below that is the powerchord range. I definitely recommend looking at the Quick Reference document. It shows you the exact range of the sounds, what the keys do, etc., and it's only one page long.
