I wrote a little song here that I'd like to donate to the community, granted this will only be useful for users of FL Studio. I've included an MP3 of the song, a midi file, and all the "bones" exported from FL Studio for the track. Feel free to download the files and poke around(the zip contains everything including the MP3). Enjoy!

Hi audiosupernova and thanks for sharing your project!
what kind of multi do you use for this song?
Shreddage doubetrack stereo or am I wrong?
ps i'm really impressed with the work you do with velocities...

For the most part the rhythm guitars on the track are double tracked. I've got a single instance of Kontakt running with two Shreddage 2 instances hard panned left/right inside Kontakt. I've got this routed through stereo guitar amps inside Amplitube 3. On some parts of the song, when the lead guitar isn't playing, I have a second rhythm guitar, which is identical to the first in terms of amping, but is set to guitars 3/4, making some sections quad tracked. I only use the quad tracking when the two rhythm guitars are playing separate harmonized parts.windir wrote:Hi audiosupernova and thanks for sharing your project!

I try my best to tweak the velocities a great deal on nearly every single note. The more varied they are, the more natural they'll sound of course. I'll typically lay down a guitar part, then go back and manually tweak every single note after I'm happy with the "riff". Same goes for lead guitar parts as well, but then I'll add in mod wheel and expression pedal stuff for string bends and vibrato where necessary. It all adds up and helps in the end.
