use an ass-load of CPU and/or RAM. is there anyway to get them to use less? I have 8 era instruments in one project as a result my computer gets really laggy(it's only 8 months old). I also only have 4GB RAM

there you have it. cpu isn't the issue, go for 8gb minimum better more (as much as possible).I also only have 4GB RAM
edit: now i get it with the ass-load..
i'm afraid theres not much left but using more ram.Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

I have Era also and it uses a lot of resources. I have 16 gigs of ram and an i7 at 3.4-3.8 and CPU is usually no issue for me except when playing chords with Diva in devine mode and then the transistors beg for mercy.
