hi guys

Just got Engine 2 and would like to record any movements within Engine 2 in Ableton Live. The manual only seems to suggest setting up controllers to change the info in Engine but some plug-ins (eg. Alchemy) allow you to change knobs in parts of that and they are recorded as you play/record in Live.

Is this possible or is there some neat solution?

Hey Sonofmoth,

have you tried right clicking the knob/fader you want to move in engine to midi learn by using your midi controller keyboard?

I've not, that will be the next step. I was hoping to be able to use a mouse on the controls in Engine and have those movements recorded in Live.

I´m sorry that´s not possible without additional software which records your mouse movement as midi data/cc value.
