I have a lot of threads that I don't want to show up in this feature. Is there a way to do this?

No, you can't - remember that all traces you have left behind you in the Internet age, stays, and can be used against you later, even when we don't exist anymore. And that's how it should be, too. Anyway, that seems to be some peoples opinion in these pages, e.g.

Not much use for me anyway i think, i rather use "My forum posts".
