a) the UVI deal is over, and I would have loved to get access to it (I think I'm one of the rare people that actually likes the UVI content)

The year isn't over yet. Who knows if UVI does the "UVI Piano" as freebie in the next months again rather than Digital Synthtations and Mello. I'm still annoyed however that yet another "feature" is tacked on to KVR and there is barely any further movement (see criticism).

people always get upset and blame others, not only when they believe they have been let down, but also when they *feel* they have been let down.
like two guys i work with, 2 years experience, and 26 years experience. the second guy says, the first guy never listens when i tell him.
understandably, the second guy feels the first guy should heed his opinion given his experience. of course quite often, this doesn't happen.
it doesn't happen because of a bunch of reasons that aren't apparent from their perspective - the new guy is the *new* guy and just like children, their responsibility is to question their predecessors, evolve and adapt.
i tell you here again and again. i grew up in a lovely old world society, very traditional, everything lovely, charming. but now, i live in tucson, where, eg. in one day, someone murders a mother and her children then steals their $20 hubcaps, and in a diner, someone shoots a pregnant woman in the stomach and an old man hostage trying to get the police to give them their child porn collection back.
the deal here is that the world is relatively, increasingly dynamic, due to eg. telecommunciations and similar technological advents.
i see plenty of people going around from traditional societies expecting everyone they meet to act a certain way and then they will all get along fine.
lower your expectations. no one in the modern world is real obliged to do shit in any particular way, because the world is going on and on and inventing itself.
"no one listens to me" who listens to anyone? sure, maybe they should, but, they don't. get over it. maybe no one ever did and it was only you thought they ever listened in the first place but they diddunt.
i guess i can't really blame you, for making the attainment of some piece of software detritus called "corroded batteries," or getting some website facilitator to respond, your major objective in life, when society is so f**ked in so many ways. just take it easy and chill, people are out here posting shit on kvr trying to make some kind of action in their lives and if it makes you all unhappy, it gets real difficult for them and puts them in a place where they either have to conform to your sensitivity or decide to not give a f**k, and i hate seeing people approach that decision. no one here even knows you. people think all kinds of shit about me because sometimes i amuse myself by .......
