Dreamlands is being made available for Kontakt V5.5.2, using the same scripted interface as Anomaly Vol. 1. It will also, eventually, be made available for Absynth V5.3.1 and Dimension Pro/Rapture.

Until then, Dream States, Textures and Atmospheres and Voyages will remain as separate soundsets.

Wusik - OOTB and the Stereo SF2 files will be moved to the backlist. There will be no final sale, just one day soon they will be retired.

After 10 years of putting out soundsets in batches of 50 to 100 sounds at a time, it is a nice feeling to sit back and collect them into one coherent whole.

All of the soundsets collected in Dreamlands were inspired after the passing of HG Fortune. They are the sounds of Dream - the opposite to the Nightmares of Anomaly. It is fitting that they are finally collected together in the same way that many of the volumes of Anomaly are.

Also, making these sounds (Anomaly and Dreamlands) available as collected sounds makes things much simpler. There are Dark sounds and Light sounds - except that it is never actually that cut and dried.

An interesting experiment for the future will be using those sounds with each other.

As for Anomaly? Anomaly XXIII was pointed toward Night and the Void, Anomaly XXIV was pointed towards the Underworld. Where it goes next, I know not - yet.

I have put up a new page for Dreamlands. The old page is now the Anomaly/Wusik Preset Pack page.

I also started a page for the Kontakt 5 Preset Pack. I will start posting audio demos there when I get more Multis made.

http://westgatesounds.net/Dreamlands/index.html

Also to note: the new Sample folder structure, for compatibility with Kontakt 5, Keeps everything in a single Anomaly folder and then sub-folders.

So far Anomaly Vol. 1 and Dreamlands share this folder structure. Eventually everything will.

Started making the Absynth V5.3.1 single sound presets for Dreamlands. Half of the soundsets will loop in Absynth, half of them are too long. Once I finish making the presets for the ones that will loop properly, I will start looking into making alternate WAV files of the other soundsets for use in Absynth.

After that I will make the SF2 (soundfont) version.

When that is finished - Voyages, Dream States and Textures will be removed from the server and placed on the Backlist.

Made a page for Absynth Dreamlands....

Both Voyages 1 and 2 need complete re-looping to make them work in Absynth. Finished Voyages 1 today. Will try to get to Voyages 2 tomorrow...

The single sound presets for Absynth are finished. There are also three Absynth alternates folders with sounds that loop properly in Absynth.

Next will be the SF2 version...

There are some early audio demos on the Absynth page....

Also, all of the Wusik presets for Dreamlands now are mapped to the Wusik V7 sample path:

Wusikstation DATA/Soundsets

which means all of the Wusik presets will now find the samples in Wusik V8. I cannot say anything at the moment about converting them to V8, as I have not tried it yet.
