Soundiron is proud to announce the release of Bamblong version 2.0, a complete overhaul of this popular bamboo idiophone. For this new version we've added a fullfeatured custom-user interface that brings along with it many of the improved features we have developed recently. The Bamblong pairs perfectly with our Uberpeggiator meta-arpeggiation system to easily create grooves and melodies, and we also included our built-in 3-band EQ and integrated convolution reverb controls.
The Bamblong was deep-sampled in both dry and wet environments, with an average of 20 velocity layers and 10 round-robin variations per dynamic layer. Also included are strike and roll articulations using nylon jazz brushes for a unique raspy effect. The "wet" articulation -- recorded in a large glass and stone recording hall -- gives this instrument a bright, organic live sound ideal for use in symphonic arrangements and blending with other concert percussion.
