We're back yet again with a fresh installment in our slightly f'd up horror design series! SICK IV is a brutal gore fx and "drum" library that drills down even deeper to get to the bare bones of pure gore foley and instrument design. To capture the nastiest, wretch-inducing flesh rips, impacts, splatters and crushes, we gathered an army of pumpkins in all shapes and sizes, along with chains, buckets, stones hammers, saws, crowbars and our own fists. Hours of carefully captured pumpkin abuse was turned into 1,300 unique production quality sfx ranging from skull-cracking to flesh-drilling. We then brought our pumpkins under a microscope to really go the distance. We deep sampled every nuance of each one with fingers, drumsticks and mallets to capture the most detailed pumpkin percussion library ever sampled, with 12X rr and plenty of velocity layering for each articulation. With the slap of flesh and the tonality of a gourde, Sick VI is a nuanced and fully playable "drum" kit that will punch through wherever meaty, organic hand drums are needed.
We've included our ARP meta-arpeggiation system (the "Uberpeggiator") with new saving/loading and an EZ-roll mode to create adaptive grooves and sequences. The intuitive FX Rack offers chorus, flange, phase, delay, distortion, compressor, EQ, amp & speaker sims and convolution reverb, featuring 70 custom rooms, halls and unique fx impulses. And of course, we've also included a robust selection of ambient pads, drones, synth-like melodic instruments, atmospheres and hellscapes crafted from the source using our own secret sauce. All of this makes Sick 4 a fully capable and comprehensive experimental instrument package that can stand on its own. check out the naked demos to see it in action.

Weighing in at over 2.0 GB and featuring 123 unique articulations, Sick VI is an excellent resource in an easy-to-use package, whether you're a sound designer for films, television or games or you're a composer or producer that needs dark, nightmarish sonic elements to sculpt the right mood or simply want a fresh and unconventional new instrumental palette to take your music to strange new frontiers.
