Iron Pack 7 is the latest installment in Soundiron's new series of universally accessible instrument libraries, intended to offer a line of playable and unique sample instruments priced right for everyone. We've made them compatible with both Kontakt (full version) and the universal open SFZ format (for Sforzando, Alchemy, Aria, Linux Sampler, etc), so anyone can use them. Each Iron Pack explores a new theme with a fresh sample set, equipped with creative presets and useful control features. You can get Iron Pack 7 for only $3.99 until July 16th.
Iron Pack 7 features 11 unique ambient pads, using raw source recordings from our premier solo soprano library, featuring Nichole Dechaine. There are also two acoustic vocal presets, with playable chromatic Ah vowel sustains and live phrases Each preset includes a variety of sound shaping controls, time-stretching, reverb/FX impulses and more.
The Kontakt GUI offers attack, sample offset, release, Hi and Lo EQ gain, sample reverse, time-stretching, pad mode, optional reverb impulse loading and mix control. It also features 10 custom convolution settings, with 5 special effect impulses and 5 vibrant rooms and halls to choose from.
The SFZ presets provide MIDI CC control over attack, sample offset, release, decay, Hi and Lo EQ gain and efficient preset loading, audio fidelity and performance. When used in the free Sforzando Player by Plogue, the GUI displays a number of proprietary sound shaping parameters, such as attack, offset, release, hi and lo gain and decay time.
