hello,
I'm on MAc, 8 core, 10.6.8 and running Logic pro 9.1.8
i saw elsewhere other people having problems with Proximity not showing on the plug ins list and they resolved it by trashing Logic prefs and re-downloading the plug-in
But i had no luck.
I see proximity in the components folder, in the audio units manager as fully validated plug in, but it's not in the plug ins list, neither 32bit, nor 64bit whether i boot logic on 32 or 64 bit...
do you have any suggestions?

Can you open the console and type
auval -a
the above is for 32bit plugs, use the following to scan 64bit AUs:
auval -64 -a
Pls post all log items related to proximity here...

uhm...
don't know if this is what you asked... i reset and re-scanned proximity in logic, then ran console and typed auval -a
au valid tool says it was successful, but still nothing...
