Why doesn't this work in logic 9? Works like a charm in Reaper... Makes a folder in the project folder with waves. in logic its just embed in the logic file itself... Any ideas?

Sorry, but the AU standard does not give any info about the project path (and the VST version is actually deprecated in the API:s, but...).
The settings option should not really be visible in the AU. I'll remove it from the AU version in next release.

ok. cool. thanks for the info. its cool that the vst lets you do this. i havent found another sampler with this ability, the only other sampler that does this and live sampling is the one that comes with renoise. anyways great work, nice plugin!

also, how can i use the AU version to do real live sampling without making the project file size huge? can i set it to save the file somewhere else?

You will need to do "save" on the created waves from the sample editor. That will allow you to place them in the folder of your choosing.

Any way to set save location of all waves for my project or do i need to save them one by one?

There is currently no "save all" function, though when you mention it, it seems like an obvious improvement.
You can sort of workaround it by just saving the program (or perf/bank) that you are working with to disk somewhere, and tick the "copy contents" checkbox. It will save all the samples along with the program data, and update the internal paths. Its also a great way to keep your sample preset library.

its not a big deal but i just noticed that if you try to save a bank without saving the sample or project your daw might crash. maybe it was just a fluke or something on my system but maybe other have had the same problem..??? idk. just so you know...
also... if you have save waves in project checked and tx16wx is open on two channels will a new sample overwrite the last one on the other channel if you don't rename it?

never mind. just answered my own question. it does! it might be a good idea to prompt on overwrite to keep files from being lost accidentally.
