Hello all. I have tried to follow the instructions in the manual but have not add any success.

I want to use Tx16wx to trigger audio samples while adjusting the pitch using the pitch bend wheel to emulate vinyl scratching.

No matter what I do in the modulation section, the pitch wheel is unresponsive in Tx16wx. I am using reaper as my daw. Both reaper and Tx16wx are the 64 bit versions.

Please talk me through the proper way to set up the pitch bend wheel.

Also if possible, I would like to set up thd mod wheel to alter the direction that a sample plays.

Thanks in advance.

You need to set up a modulation:

Source: Pitchbend
Dest: Pitch

Then set up the needed amount.

If you are having issues with this, my guess is that the groups you are setting up have the key scale (group->scale) set to "Fixed" (i.e. non-transposing), and you are mapping the Pitch bend to "Pitch" instead of "Pitch (raw)". The former will work at the ratio defined by the key scale, i.e. for "Fixed", nothing will happen. Use "Pitch (raw)" as dest, or change the group(s) to use a key scale (Normal?) and all should be fine.

You cannot modulate sample direction per sé, but you can map "Loop direction", which will allow you to flip the playback direction live once you are playing a loop region (which you could always set to the entire sample).

Great! Will try tonight. What value should I use with pitch *raw*

The range you want to bend? The modulation is in absolute cents, so if you want pitch bend to affect pitch by +/-2 semi tones, set it to 200ct. E.t.c.
