Not sure what the egg is, but as for the second question, sorry, the playing split is simply just a stroked+filled rect with the same colour as the drawn group, which, since the colours are partially transparent, adds up to a tone change in the default scheme.
I guess I could add an FR to make these colours specified in the skin.

As no-one else has replied, the Easter Egg is the snazzy ticker-tape scrolling display of the long file name.
I asked about the colouring as I am using more transparency, so the difference in colour was less; an FR would be good (not urgent though).
