Hi,

I created some EXS Samples with Mainstage Autosampler and tried to play them on a Windows PC using Cantabile as Plugin_Host. After loading the EXS file i get following message:

TX16w is searching for the aiff-file <"name of the exs sample">-F#5-64-TX2J

Maybe you can help me to fix the problem. I'm a beginner with Sampling Keyboards.

Regards
Tobi

Uhm, TX16Wx never outputs the phrase "searching for" (or even searching), so I am very unsure what you are saying happens. Can you provide some more details? A reproducer case? Screenshots?

Here is a screenshot. The Tx16 wants the location of the aif file. But I have only the files in EXS format.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

EXS is not a container format. Samples used in an EXS program are just referenced to their location on disk. If you copied the EXS file from one machine to another, you need to copy the referenced samples as well. If the referenced paths differ, you will get a "cannot find dialog". Just locate the sample it asks for at the rest of the program should resolve automatically.
