Acoustica Basic

So I downloaded acoustica basic but i am having two major issues with it. First, i cannot figure our how to records vocals over the instrumental track. Anytime i press record the software always records my voice in between the track..so the end results is my voice and then the track comes in after my vocals are over. I want the track to play with my vocals..also i cannot figure out how to export a completed and saved track. Can anyone help?

Thanks for testing Acoustica Basic Edition. The Basic Edition is a single track audio editor, so it is not a good choice for mixing. You can mix two clips by recording to separate windows and using the "copy" and "mix with clipboard content" for the edit menu, but that is very tedious. Both the standard and premium editions have built in multitrack capabilities, though.
