In Windows, you can simply use the add / remove programs feature. Unfortunately, Apple doesn't provide any mechanisms for deinstallation and you would need to manually remove the plug-ins from the following locations:

VST:
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST

AU:
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/

AAX:
/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins
