As far as audio is concerned, all I did was apply EQ and gating to the drums. There is no compression or effects. This was a single take with no editing, as is always the ultimate goal for me when it comes to tracking drums! There are a few hairy bits in there, but I'm only human and I like my recordings to reflect that.

Drum cover of "The Sound of Muzak" by Porcupine Tree. My best drum mix so far! Got a couple of RODE M5 mics which have made a huge difference to the sound - especially the one standing in my bedroom being used as a room mic!

Here is my latest video. The backing track was not mixed by me - it was mixed by the song's writer and emailed. I then stuck both my drums (mixed in Tracktion) and the backing track along with the video into Powerdirector, and this is the result!
