Hi there,
Has anyone else had this same problem? When I attempt to drag and drop a plugin to an output or if I attempt to drag and drop a clip to a track in the timeline, the dragged icon just jumps back and doesn't allow me to do so. Very weird. The only way I can add a plugin to a track is to right-click the volume/pan plugin on the track and choose 'add new plugin'.
I'm using Ubuntu 4.10 / Unity. Other than this Tracktion works just great.
Thanks,
Russ

You also can't rearrange the order of plugins so this is kind of a serious issue since the entire interface is based on this way of working.
Hopefully it's fixed soon.

So it means there are no beta-testers for linux?

You can help beta test the Linux version by downloading your own free beta Linux package herefwsuperhero wrote:So it means there are no beta-testers for linux?

Could someone please suggest 'best practice' for dropping back to the previous version until these drag/drop features are fixed.

Slick!stanlea wrote:Uninstall 5.3.14
Install 5.3.9
In a terminal
Code: Select all
sudo apt-get remove tracktion
And I'll get back with the rest once I get it going again.
