Using the scroll wheel to move knobs

Some VSTs allow Using the scroll wheel to move knobs (example: corona). Most others don't. I wonder if the host has anything to do with this (ie intercepting the mouse wheel events) and if there's a setting we could flip in tracktion to pass mouse wheel events to the vst?

Tracktion passes all mouse wheel events to the plugin windows otherwise this wouldn't work at all. You may have to click the plugin UI first to give it focus, it depends on the plugin, OS and format.
Are you sure these plugins that don't respond to mouse wheel events actually have the capability in the plugin?
