Copy automation?

stupid question

but how do you copy a automation ?i have a track where there is a huge click,i want to make a volume drop,but instead of making it all through the track,i just want to copy the automation?

If you do the automation in the clip (the fx again) and you can either link or copy/paste and the automation will be there.

I have no idea (nor could I find a fast reference if there is a way to move automation with a track.

Again, T-team, hope you are working on a consolidated manual as this is a bit tough to find (google search doesn't do crap, I just know to look in the T4 manual)

Click on any automation on a track. Look at the property panel and you will see copy and delete. You can copy or delete the marked region and all points from curve also. So say once you sellect copy marked region you can go to to any other automation in your edit and select paste automation in marked region. An you can lock automation to clips by selecting the lock automation botton.
