Hi Lawrence, we do use a proprietary binary format for the project files for a number of reasons. However, we might be able to help you determine the information you need from it.

The best thing to do is send us a support request via the "Support" button on our website (just type anything into the search box then a "Leave us a message" option will appear). We can then discuss this in more detail.

Thank you db, done. I really do want to include Tracktion in the 1.0 version. The app is evolving nicely but I have a way to go to have full interchange between the first four supported products. You can see an imported Tracktion Edit file below, missing the sample rate and song notes (does T7 have song notes?) and of course the file names / references for the clips which are in the other binary file.

But all of the track and clip data and settings are sitting in a class object waiting for export to any of the other three song formats.
