Cannot wrap Sidechain

Hi all,
Using T5 (free version). I am looking to link a riser so it pops in unison with the kick drum.I have looked at sidechaining however there is no option to wrap sidechain filter in a rack filter. There is no option in the drop down menu like I have seen in others. Is this a limitation of T5 or is there some other issue. Help greatly appreciated.
