Hi,

With the group buy in early 2014, there was also a demo contest with a deadline before the end of February.

Does anyone heard about it ever since? It's been 3 months now and no news about it. I wrote directly to Kirk about this, but never got any reply.

Thanks.

I have no idea. I've asked about it, but it seems to have just disappeared. It would be nice to hear something even if it's just "we scrapped the idea" or "I decided not to do it".

I also asked Kirk about it and he told me he hadn't gotten around to deciding the winners yet. He has been to busy. That would mean that the contest isn't cancelled, he just has to find some time to pick the winners.

That's good news I guess. I assume he's still working on the SSS samples. I'm really enjoying the Bertha violin. If he's able to come up with more instruments that sound that good I'll be happy.

Sorry about that. I'll get on this by the end of the week!

Is there any way to know who are the winners and what they won?

Well I got a $250 credit for KH products and I know of one other person who posts on this forum that got a $100 credit, but I let him identify himself if he so desires.

My question, though: Do you now own that track, Kirk, or can I use it as I please?

I won $350 credit which turned out is for a shared first place. My song can be found at https://soundcloud.com/msetten/empty-days

I got a credit too for$200, so I guess I came in 3rd. Now I have almost all of Kirk's products.

I tried to pin down what this reminded me of, then it hit me like a huge green monster...

Looks like Kirk has been hard at work making something for us to spend our prize money on :D
